Opticho US

Software-based ultrasound imaging device

OptichoUS brings state-of-the-art ultrasound (US) imaging techniques to real-world clinical settings.

Its appearance is familiar to medical doctors, researchers, developers, and even the general public. The system supports reconfigurable electronics and user-definable image processing algorithms that can be implemented on an embedded graphical processing unit (GPU), allowing users to develop and apply their own imaging methods.

By implementing their own solutions, users can validate the technical feasibility and clinical effectiveness of such advanced ultrasound imaging techniques as ultrafast US, Doppler imaging, US localization microscopy, and energy-based imaging modalities, including photoacoustic imaging, RF acoustic imaging, and X-ray acoustic imaging.

For these custom implementations, we can provide engineering services such as integrating custom-designed US probes, accelerating image processing, and R&D collaboration.
